Hello Spring, tomorrow is winter again!

Good Mornin', to all of you!

Busy here this past few days. Meggie is getting better, she just won't eat. Trying everything. Sh has had a few bouts of poops yet. YUCK! Poor little girl! Anyhow, she has a plate of bananas, crackers and toast in front of her right now. Hope she nibbles on some!

The boys went to school with Gma & Papa for breakfast. They have wanted them to have bfast with them for quite sometime, and were waiting on the day for the sausage biscuits! YUMMY! Boys love the fact that it is a yummy bfast with their grandparents!

Anyhow, Rockies is all they seem to talk about. Getting the stats every morning from Andy! Funny boy!

Last night played with the Moody boys at the clinic and then they came home to play with Syd and RJ. Lots of playing! They had a great time riding bikes, scooters, and pulling each other in the wagon! I "played" in the dirt, and worked on getting all the dead cut back in our yard. It is a HUGE task, and sometimes wonder why I planted sooooooo much stuff! I guess the reward is the beauty in the summer sonths! Oh, how I love to play in the dirt! I don't think I could chose between crafty stuff and playing in the dirt. Lucky I am that my Mom taught me well..... OR I guess I got great creative genetics! TEE HEE!

Yesterday, Meggie and I went to Chadron to deposit some $$$ for the CTMH stuff, and had lunch with Auntie Marisa. She was so glad to see us. Meggie hardly ate her Mc D's chicken nuggets, but Maris and I devoured and split a chinese meal. YUMMY! Oh, how I love chinese food. I guess I have a true fascination of the Orient. When I signed on to be a an Exchange Student (way back then), I had on my list of preferences Japan & Sweden. I didn't get to go to Japan of course, but still have the fascination! Someday, I hope to visit there.
Here is a picture of the puppy I want. It is the cutest thing!

Well, off to Walmart to get the grocery essentials. I am 2 times out, and Jeffey is set to work AGAIN tonight. He just got home @ 1:00 this morn. YUCK!

Anyhow, seems like a beautiful day!

Take Care! HUGS!

Oh MY! What a storm at the home base!

Meggie is sick.
Saturday after I got off work, I went to the farm to pick up the kids. Meggie puked right when I got there. So, I cleaned her up, and Gma got her some Sprite to drink. She proceeded to puke AGAIN! I loaded her up with her bucket and we headed home. She puked in her bucket on the way to town. Poor little girl! We got into clean jammies and into Daddy's bed. Yep, puked AGAIN! I got cleaned up again and she wanted to go to her bed. So, I put her into her bed with her bucket. And, yep, four more times. By this time we were out of blankies and sheets! It was 4 a.m. and I was getting tired of laundry! Daddy got home from work at 6:30 am and went to bed, so that I could go to sleep in the afternoon. Meggie and I watched some sprout t.v. and relaxed between pukes..... So, I got to go to work at 3:45p.m. and Jeffey got her to take some medicine via a "cocktail" of sprite and meds. mixed. She had a low grade fever this whole time too. SOOOO, she felt better last night, and ate a few bites of supper and drank quite a lot and kept it down. She had been playing a bit too. This morning we woke to biggest "shit storm" of this home! Meggie had diarrhea in the biggest way in her bed!!! YIPES! Never seen anything like it! GEEZE! Daddy cleaned her bed, and I got to clean her up and bathe her. She just sat there in the tub, quiet enjoying the water being poured over her..... She didn't play with her bath toys.... Sad little girl! SO, she is in the chair with clean jammies on and one of the last clean blankie and pillow resting, while drinking her "cocktail". I sure hope she is better...... I am worried!!!
The boys went to school in their baseball regalia.... they spent the weekend at Grandmas digging big holes for her and shooting guns, riding 4 wheelers and getting into the hot tub, and helping Papa with chores. Matt was so tired when he got home last night at 5:30 he went straight to bed. Tired little dude! Andy is full of life as usual! Okay, Jeffey is going to work this afternoon. Me, I am three times out waiting for no vacancies!

It's a great day.....except the crappy weather!

(MOPS Tree Plant 2008-) (My first flowers picked by my boys, given to me wrapped in paper towels from school.)

Yep, we are all home as a family, and the weather has to be unpredictable! UGH! I wanted to golf with the fam today! ARGH! So, anyhow, the boys have been outside playing baseball, football, and golfing. So, I had a nap. Geeze....

So, looks like work tonight or tomorrow for me. My hubby tonight. WHat a dull day! I am not inspired to do anything creative either.............

K, have a great dull day too!

p.s. MOPS planted a maple tree at the caboose area last night in the cold and rain. I hope it grows! The ground was rock hard, and took a bit of effort to dig the hole! Sheer determination got it done!

Huh? What the heck???

(Another great pic of Me and Meggie, Jeffey and the boys at Morrill Hall)

Ummm, where did the week go? I must have blinked my eyes! Work, and life somehow occupied my time....

Anyhow, no school tomorrow for the kids. Jeffey will be home until tomorrow night and I will be on-call for the weekend. Yippee! Not much going on here. The boys left for school with their baseball get ups on. They took their gloves and found a softer ball to play with. It seems that baseballs are not allowed at school because they are too hard. Hmmmm..... I question that. Meggie and I need to shower and get ready for the day. We need to plot a place to plant the tree for MOPS and then help Lisa with wedding stuff. Then clean the cabin for Grandma this afternoon. Whew~ another very busy day........ Okay, take care all of you!
Hugs & Kisses, us

What a WEEKEND! Yippee!!!!!!

Hey ya'all! Lots have happened since the last blog entry..... We left for our trip on Thursday afternoon. We got to Paxton about 5:00 in the evening and visited with Jeff's family..... The boys loved seeing their cousins! They had a great time at the downtown bar/grill playing video games with their cousins while Jeff and I had drinks and supper with the rest of the family. What a fun time we had! Laughed and laughed some more.
We left early the next morning for Lincoln. Stopped for coffee on the way out.....Yummy! Anyhow, it was a cold rainy day! But, we went to Lincoln and our first stop was Morrill Hall..... the house of mammoths! Jeffey and Matt had a great time looking at all of the bones and seeing the different sites. We did conclude that we have some better museums here in our area concerning dinosaurs and fossils. Anyhow, we then walked over to the stadium and saw the trophy room and the rest of the stadium. Pretty cool! The boys were amazed once again! WOW! They thought it was a dream! So the game was for them too. We went and checked into our hotel and then headed for Famous Daves for some awesome BBQ. it was only a 40 minute wait. IT WAS well worth it! Yummy! We had some great food! I then dropped the boys off at the hotel and headed for Hobby Lobby! Yep, got there to shop for a whole 20 minutes before they closed! YUCK! I decided that the city life isn't for me anymore! Too many people, stop lights, traffic, and just life is toooooo fast paced! YIPES! I am plum happy here in B.F.E. I guess that I have grown up? Thought I needed that kind of life at one time. Hmmmmm, funny how kids change you.
Anyhow, Saturday morn. headed for a big breakfast and then to the Stadium to wait in line for the gates to open. There was general admission only, so there were no assigned seating. SO, we waited 2 hours and got fantastic seats..... the boys were pretty patient, too. So, we met Jeff's entire family there and had a great time.... boys love it! GO Huskers! Jeffey was in heaven, too. We enjoyed getting to go out onto the field for the drug free pledge with the kids and took some awesome pictures with Grandmas camera (forgot mine at hotel!) I will share those later... We went to shop at Scheel's and I went to Michael's which was right across the parking lot! It wasn't so impressive as compared to our Rapid City Hobby Lobby! I guess I was disappointed in the whole shopping experience! So, I must go to Rapid, right????? Jeff's Mom wanted to eat at Olive Garden, so we went and got in line for about 45 minutes. It was pretty good. Just expensive! The kids never eat good.... too busy talking to their cousins! Anyhow, they went to swim at the hotel and I went to bed, as I got the kids cold/cough. Felt miserable. I didn't feel much better on Sunday on the drive home.
Jeffey drove the entire way home, and the boys did pretty well after we turned a movie on.... they just get bored no matter what we do. So, we made it! I say only once a year is good enough for me to go to the eastern part of the state. Today, we are relaxing. I haven't felt better yet. Jeffey went and got me some more cold meds. They seem to make me very tired! Oh, well, we had a great time! Take Care all of you!
p.s. Meggie had a great time at Grandma & Papas, they went to town and ate chinese and went to see the quilts with Auntie and then went shoe shopping! SHe loves her shoes! What a funny girl!

My, Oh My....

(I wish I was here.............and skinny in my bikini ;) nope, didn't take this pic.)

Geeze, my alarm clock didn't go off again this morn. I must be retarded and can't seem to get the "a.m. and the p.m." straight on it. Again, I had it set for 7:15 pm. DUH???!!!! Maybe I just don't know what time of the day it is? Anyhow, craziness this morning getting everyone off to school....

Anyhow, got cramps. Yep, that time of the month and it is just perfectly timed! ARGH! I don't feel so great.... took 3 Advil, swilled them down with my morn. coffee. Should be fine in a bit.

So, lets, see..... oh yea went to work the last two evenings around 5:00. Went to Chadron, and got groceries and a new cell phone.... I am exhausted! Run, run, run.

Today, I need to exercise. Got my Moms elliptical here in town now, so I plan on using it when I can't seem to squeeze a workout into my hectic life. Then, Lisa have a bunch of wedding projects to do for her brothers wedding. Oh, and a haircut and need some kind of snack for Andy @ school. Matt needs some seeds for school.
K, sorry for putting out my mental list to ya'all! I know that you are okay with all of that.

Oh, the groceries need put away, laundry and all the packing for the weekend needs started, too.

No time for me? As usual. Need to run away! Someday soon..... to Hobby Lobby! YIPPEE!!!!!!!
Oh, yea, I got a great new CD at walmart yesterday. It is ocean spa music. Calming..... So, here is a photo to make you think of it...... Nope, I didn't take this pic.

Have a great day!

With sunshine comes lots of work....

(Cell phone pic of the buttes last fall)
Hey Everyone!

Oh My! We have been busy! This last weekend, we worked and helped at the ranch with ear tagging and vaccinating. The boys rode 4 wheelers, chased cows, played the the mud puddles and then had enough energy to play lots of baseball with Grandma! They even got to see a breech calf get pulled! Meggie jumped on the jumpaline and played ball too. She even spits when the appropriate time comes! TOOO Funny! We have had a great time in this wonderful weather!

Yesterday, Jeff and I went to help brand 14 calves with Uncle Ron at the ranch. We got muddy up to our knees. The corral was soooo flooded! I decided too late, that I need some serious rubber boots. YIPES! We were a sight! Thank GOD for the moisture.... Papa is already farming. He is so excited this time of the year. He never loses that excitement for planting season... It is so cool that he gets to do what he loves!

Well, all is well. I am headed to Chadron to get the groceries and license the van. I am 1st out to go to work, so no naps for me today! UGH! Take Care all!

hugs.........................

Sometime we deserve to get a pampering. I am getting a message! YEA! OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH! It will feel so good!

Mops tonight, looking forward to a good laugh.... I NEED IT!

Sometimes life is just too serious for words....

No walk today, too much DAMN snow. ARGH!

The boys had a hard time finding their snow boots and ect. this morn. I am getting really tired of this SHITTIN' SNOW! Can't we just get some rain???????????????

Have a good one.

From the Heart.....

(Written from the heart for the MOPS newsletter)
Integrity & Forgiveness
Becky Wendland

"So the priest will make peace with the LORD. Then you will be forgiven for whatever you did that made you guilty." Leviticus 6:7
"If you forgive the failures of others, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." Matthew 6:14

Okay, we all make mistakes. Can we honestly ‘fess up’ to them? Sometimes I think, nope. I can’t take the responsibility for that! Oh, yea it’s easy to say that to oneself… Speaking for myself, my parents raised me with good, strong morals, values and work ethics. They raised me to have integrity. What’s that you say?

Integrity
- possession of firm principles: the quality of possessing and steadfastly adhering to high moral principles or professional standards- completeness: the state of being complete or undivided- wholeness: the state of being sound or undamaged

So, the bible tells us to do the right thing. Be kind to your neighbors and enemies. Simple, really. Why so do many trespass and do wrong to others and us? My opinion is their integrity, and their FAITH. Yep, I am struggling with why this happens… So in the mean time I am praying for forgiveness for everyone. Forgiveness means facing the issue- recognizing it for what it is and choosing to cancel that debt. The healing begins when we recognize the hurt and decide to let it go over time and every moment in the day.
Praise be to God that in Jesus’ death on the cross, we can find forgiveness for any and every sin we have chosen!

p.s I lost 2.5 pounds! Jeffey lost 2 pounds! YIPPEEE!!! No more blubbering cows ;) And Lisa and I went for POWER walk with Angie. She is a motivator! Thanks GIRL! Whew, I feel the burn..... my feet ache! Need new shoes! Take Care!

When life becomes to hard to stand......Kneel!

Please let the following verses fall into your prayers.

"So the priest will make peace with the LORD. Then you will be forgiven for whatever you did that made you guilty." Leviticus 6:7

"If you forgive the failures of others, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." Matthew 6:14

AW, what a beautiful day!

(Boys @ Rockies Game Aug. 2007)
(Mommy & Meg June 07)

Too bad I am dead-ass tired. Worked the midnight job last night and am on the lineup for it again tonight! UGH! YUCKY! I really love to sleep @ night in my flannel sheets!

Anyhow, our Pampered Chef came and Lisa and Jeffey were sooooo excited! They were planning on what to cook. Can't wait for the results!

Jeffey and the kids went to the farm to brand and ect. Uncle Ron was going to be there too. So, I am sure they will have a great night of dirty, muddy fun! I am home waiting to go to work. I thought I was going to work the 1800 job. But nooooo. I was wrong!

Well, we got our tickets for the Red/White game in Lincoln. Jeffey booked a hotel in Lincoln for two nights too. We just have to decide what our priorities are to see and ect. I think Meggie will stay home with Gma and Auntie M. I don't think she would like a football game and to be drug all over Lincoln! We are excited, as we don't get out much! YIPPEEE! Hobby Lobby here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyhow, not much else happening. Oh, yea, I almost forgot. I am struggling with hunger issues. It seems that I am DAMN hungry! Any suggestions???????

Take Care, Hugs..................................................................

Rain, Rain, come on strong!

YEA! it's raining.... It is wonderful! A bit gloomy, but we soooooo need it.

Okay, today we stared the day off with Megan pottying on the bathroom floor...huge puddle! Didn't quite make it! OOPS. Better luck next time. Was supposed to go out to the farm to tag and vaccinate calves with Mom. She and Dad & Marisa already did it last night. Bummer! Looking forward to wrestling little babies! HA! Anyhow, working on the Chamber agenda and listening to Meg eat Cheetos. Yep, her idea of breakfast. I just don't want to fight with her again this morning....

Boys walked to school in the rain. i think that they thought they were going to melt! Geeze! Silly boys! They were giddy, so I thought they needed to expel some of that energy before Mrs. B & Mrs. L got them....

Jeffey got called to deadhead at 9:30, so he was off to Edgemont.

Pure bliss here. Quiet coffee time.... mostly! Now, shower and then noon meeting for the Chamber and 4;00 MOPS Steering meeting....

Busy, and yet still two times out....

Okay, Have a great one! Hugs................

Onions anyone??????

Nope, no losers!

(Papa & Meggie, Aug. 2007)

No losses for us.... That is weight loss... it seems that the crappy weather has affected us. We didn't exercise as much, okay I am speaking of myself. Jeffey continued to lift and do the treadmill at work. Anyhow, back to walking everyday! Lisa and I went this morn, and it was a beautiful walk.... Not that cold. More like I was sweaty very quickly... maybe that the fat burning;)

The kids are good. Mat lost his front tooth while eating a piece of bread last night. He was so excited! He has another front one loose, too. Andy hasn't lost his yet. It isn't really wiggly yet. Anyhow, the boys watched the first win for the Rockie last night. Another game tonight. They took their ball gloves with them to school, and hopefully they bring them home. Santa brought them both REALLY nice gloves this year.

Meggie is just as cute as ever! She is mostly potty trained..... just not poopie-trained! We will get there. Just takes time. We are happy that she just says, "go to baffroom!" So, we are are on the right road. YIPPEE!

Well, Jeffey and I just pulled out the stove and cleaned behind it and all around it....YUCKY! EWWW, NASTY! Got it done, as it was bothering me. I remember too well how nice it was to have a cleaning lady! Miss her! Just need a cheaper one!

Okay, its a beautiful day here. I am two times out waiting for the phone to ring someday..... Take Care,

Hugs.................................

P.s Does anyone need some onions? I have a 50 lb. bag to get rid of....

WHew! I hate hats and gloves.....

I will be so glad when winter is over! I am SICK and TIRED of trying to find every ones hats, gloves, boots, snow pants! It is exhausting to do this every morning! This morning I had to explain that they must wear their snow boots, NOT their new shoes to school! I had to talk myself till I was blue in the face.

Anyhow, Matt has two loose front teeth. Andy had one to the left on the top loose. The tooth fairy will be busy soon!

Meggie's tongue is getting better. It is healing slowly and knitting itself back together slowly...

Jeff & I are home today, and hopefully it warms up. Jeffey has been busy keeping us warm with the wood stove a blazing.

I wish it were nice enough for a walk.... too snowy. Maybe later on the street.

Take Care,

B

My favs.
