Wendland's HalloWeen!

The kids and I went to the costume contest at the Community Building.... where there was a plethora of ghosts, pincesses, witches, a Bo-Peep, a shrub, silly dance hall girl, a harliquin girl, a couple of cowboys, a lamb or two, a monkey, a frog, and many, many, more....
Meggie won third in her age group!  She had a great time, as her best friend Kami was there with her!  What a fun dress up day!
Matt was in an age group that probably had twenty five kids in it.  So, nope he didn't win.  Oh well, he got some candy out of the deal and was very happy with that!
Then we came home and our Miranda, the lady bug,  and her parents were here!  Soon, Grandma and Papa came too.  We played and decorated pumpkins, and ate some supper....  We had a great time as a family!  Oh how I love those moments!  AWESOME MEMORIES!
Then we started getting some trick-or-treaters......  So, we rushed around and got our costumes on and faces painted, again.  TOO Funny!  We all went out to to get treats together, the gaggle of witches, a Anikin Skywalker, a Husker Football Player, a Charger football player (Nick), a Queen (Ashley),  a farmer(Papa) and a Mama Indian(Kim)!  What a sight we were!
What a fun night we had, even though Meggie got tired quickly.  I brought her home so that she and Papa could sort her candy, and have a popcorn ball.  I was told by Papa that she ate a few bites of her popcorn ball, got up and got a ziplock, put her ball into it, then sat in the chair with her banket "Big" and promptly went to sleep!  Tired lil' witch!   The rest of us went until our buckets were so full that we could add another thing!  "And boy were they heavy!" Matt said.
