FEE FAHN! I am tired... and the party is over!

A little bit of Swedish slang for ya'all. It means, "Oh Shit!" Anyhow, I just finished my office cleaning and hauled out 4 bags of trash....Ang, pat me on the back! YES! I purged some crap. It feels great! And I have a box of goodies for sale. Mostly crafty stuff: stamps, and ect. So, come and have a look!

I just heard from my family, and they will be home VERY soon, probably within the hour. So, the party is over her.... Not that I ever did party. I did get my Christmas stuff up, with lots of my girlfriends help....(Thanks Ang, Kim and Ash!) I so enjoyed our time together! I got my Christmas cards sent out, except the hand deliver ones. The bedrooms are cleaned..... Oh my, my life is in order! WHOOO HOOOOO!

I believe I have caught the spirit bug.....

Yep, I LOVE, LOVE Christmas. In fact, so much that Jeffey & I were married December 13, 1997. We had a gorgeous Christmas wedding (i will post pics later when I get them scanned!) Anyhow, the Christmas stuff at all the stores in Rapid were just gorgeous! I was once again drawn to the red/white/silver color schemes. I have had this scheme for several years, and can't seem to derail from it! However, the boys' tree this year is silver/white and ocean blue (in honor of my parents recent adventure). But, otherwise it's the same ole' same ole' here. Just trying to change it up a bit. I think a few friends are coming over today to help me with a new perspective.....thanks girlies in advance, I LOVE YA!
Well, as you can see, I am up-and-at-'em quite early this morn. I have lots to do and the clock is ticking away quickly. I did take last night off from work, due to extreme exhaustion, and the after effects of Olive Gardens Soup. UGH! SO, off to the cow tanks I go, to ensure that they have water. Then, to my own projects. Have a lovely day!

.....Black Friday! It was a BLAST! Yep, we had a great time. I spent too much time and $$$ at H.L. But it was great fun. I found some fantastic bargins as eeverything was 50% off! YIPPEE!!! Then we went to Gordmans (neat-o) and the new Target, Menards, Kmart. Pretty FUN without a single child to irratate us! Thanks for the fun day Kim-Bo! Let's do it again soon! For now, I am off to bed..... sooooo tired, as only got 4 hours of sleep.

Happy Day Phae!

Tomorrow is Phae's Birthday! Happy Birthday Girlfriend! And Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! YEA!

My family is leaving at 1:15 today, to head to Grandma & Grandpa Wendlands! Yippee! I will be all alone...............believe me, I won't be crying my eye's out. I will be too busy with chores, cleaning the cabin, doing up some more apples to freeze, cleaning Meggie's room, putting up all of the Christmas stuff, cleaning my office and PURGING, baking cookies, a cake, and ect. PLUS, I will be working the 2100 at night every night. YIPPEE! Sleeping in............

So, if you want to come and help, give em a ring..........

1st Haircut!

Yep, Meggie got a haircut! YIPPEE! It was the first time I trimmed the back of her hair. It was long in some spots, and not in others. SO SWEET! She sat so good for me, too. Daddy-o took the pics.

Oh YEA! It is almost here!

My kids are so excited for T-day weekend............... Let me tell you, so am I.........Whew! They are exhausting me...............
I am sitting here relaxing after the chaos of getting everyone dressed, fed, and sent off to school. It is like a whirlwind EVERY morning here. Everyone CANNOT listen and do what they are told. It is DRIVING me crazy! ARGH!

....days, until I let myself start putting holiday backgrounds on... YIPPEE!
This coming weekend, all of my family is traveling to Jeff's parents in Paxton. He is taking them for a weekend of fun with their cousins! The kids are ecstatic! They can't wait! Me, too. I have some serious projects to get done here @ home. Yep, I will be home working. I have no vacation left.... UGH! So, I am just fine with staying behind to get my Christmas stuff out, clean Meggie's room, clean my office and ect. I hope everyone has a great time! I know I will!
We spent the day at the farm, doing odds and ends. I have lots of laundry from the cabin in the works. It seems that the last folks (who were there 4 nights) used every towel in the joint! I have to clean again for guests arriving Friday, too. We got to snuggle Miss Miranda, too. She is soooooo precious! The kids all love to snuggle her.
Well, I am going to work at 6:00 am. YUCK! But, I hope to be home by 1:00 p.m. I have lots of projects for the train to accomplish!

Great Pumpkin Dessert

1 (15 oz) can Pumpkin
1 (12 oz) can Evap. milk
3 Eggs
1 C. Sugar
4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 pkg. yellow, white or spice cake mix
3/4 C. butter
Chopped Pecans
350 degree oven, 9 x 13 Greased pan. Combine Pump. milk, eggs, sugar and spices. Mix well, and pour into pan. Sprinkle DRY cake mix over top, drizzle melted butter and top with nuts.
Bake 1 hour or until knife some out clean in center. YUMMY! Serve with cool whip or ice cream.

Holiday Recipe

A new yummy recipe I made for the candle party....delicious!

Hot Cranberry Cider

1/4 C. Brown Sugar

1 1/2 TBS Cinnamon

1 tsp. ground cloves

8 C. Cranberry juice

6 C. Apple juice

Put sugar, cinn., cloves in crock pot. Add juices, stir. Heat until hot, do not boil. Serve with cinn. sticks if desired.

Our ornery boys came up with this entertainment last night. Andy said, "WHOOOO what an AWESOME ride!" Yep, thrill seekers we have on our hands....Uh OH! Are we in for it? Anyhow, they had a great time, and Jeffey and I laughed our butts off at them! Tee Hee! FUNNY! Well, the candle party was fun. Then, I went to bet at midnight. The BNSF called me in at 1:30 am. OUCH! That hurt.....

It's a Chaotic, Crazy Life!

Okay, I got the issues voiced to my dear friend, and hopefully working on the resolutions. We both ended up in tears. I sure enjoy her friendship, as she balances me. She is the calm, organized, and sticky sweet friend. Thanks for your friendship, girl! I missed you......

Okay, Phae's party... I ended up getting called for work, on duty @ 6:00 p.m. So I was there for 30 minutes.... DAMN! I guess they all had a great time! Yea for Phae! Lacy, Kim B., and Then Lisa picked the kids up after the party. The kiddo's spent the night @ Lisa's.... I picked them up early this morning, so they could come home for bfast, and to get dressed. I got home from work at midnight-30. Jeffey was about 45 minutes behind me in bed. He had a long trip to Gillette... we sure missed him!

Well, it was a chaotic morning. Meggie cried, and cried. So sad..... she just isn't herself this morn. The boys are off to school.....YAY!

Meggie and I will commence to clean now. I am hosting a PartyLite candle party tonight, you are more than welcome to come! Just don't feel obligated to buy, just to come and have dessert....YUMMY!

Okay, I have been really busy on the train with projects.... lots of Christmas cards and gifts! Thank Goodness I have time to do that, as I think I might lose what sanity I have left. These kiddo's are exhausting my patience, & ears.

I just asked Meggie to get a broom to get started, and she got the ready mop, and began squirting the floor......................AHHHHHHH! Calgone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you talk to your great friend.....

Hmmmm..... I have been pondering this for nearly a week. How do I talk to my great friend about an issue with her child? It is been VERY heavy on my heart, and nearly ruined my week. I guess honesty wins again. Avoiding it has done nothing. I'll take the first steps....

Okay, I have to take Matt to the dentist today. He has a broken tooth on the side... maybe a molar. UGH! So, off to Dr. L. He is THE GREATEST DENTIST for kids. I highly recommend him....
Then off to a birthday party tonight for Phae! YAY! He real birthday is next Thursday, but we are doing it tonight with a PJ party! Yippee! YIPPEE! Happy day, Phae!

Oh my! It is early.....

Good Morning All!

How is everyone? Perky? No, then think, I've gotten called for 4:45 am.... that's before the rooster crows!

Anyhow, yesterday Andy stayed home with an ear ache. Poor dude! Missed the beautiful weather. Me, too, for that matter. I worked nights, and slept most of the day away. EXCEPT, to go clean the cabin. The folks were actually waiting on us! Jeffey went with me to help suck bugs... and cleaned the toilet. Mom, cleaned the oven and micro. It was definitely an team effort!

Here are two of my favorite things..... my Bunn, and my phone. Yes, I could live without the phone, but the Bunn, fat chance! What are some of your favorite things? Besides the obvious, family, friends ect. ect.????????

Well, not much happening here. I am taking a bunch of projects to work today. It will be a great day to get them done! Take Care..........

Yep, this is our M.i.a. sock pile. This is where we put our missing socks in the cupboard above the dryer and then sort them out a few times a year. This is where were most of my socks were... Hmmmm, how can that be? Five peoples socks can really add up!

Oh, Monday, again?

This weekend I worked all nights.... and got nearly no sleep! Whew, I slept 11 hours last night. Well, I should say all of us slept that long. Grandma's is hard on us.... lots of dirt bike riding, jumping on the tramp, and hunting and ect. The kids had a good time @ the farm.
Yesterday, the ranch neighbors held a baby shower for Miranda. It was a good time seeing everyone, & having some apple pie. YUM! Yes, Mom made it. Anyhow, little Miranda has fat rolls on her legs now. CUUUUTTTE! I love fat babies! And we took their family picture....hopefully I will be able to post a few later today.
Oh, I learned to knit, too. Yep, I got this loom thingy @ Walmart. It took me a few hours to knit a scarf! Cool, huh?
Well, I got my picture for the Christmas cards. Just need to cut them apart and add to the cards, and then I will be done! YEA! Anyone else need cards? I am for hire ;) ;)

A friend of mine is selling throws again this year for Christmas. You know what they are, the thingy that you throw over your bed to keep you warm. I only have the one attached sample (above photo) to show you now. I may have already solicited a few of you so if this is a repeat request, I apologize. They are $63.00 each ---- I know it sounds expensive, but they are really good quality. I am getting 2 --- one for my bed and one for my sofa. Have a look, and let me know if you are interested. It reminds me.....

.......of my new overnight bag.... that is this new background. LOVE IT! I am not quite ready for Christmas backgrounds yet. Maybe next week. Anyhow, I had a great Thursday. I went to Chadron with Matt & Hubby. We had a nice coffee from Cleo's, lunch @ Chinese, and then the Walmart trip. Then we hustled home so that I could help move cows home. We had to move them because of the "eastern fool" deer hunters that are notorious for shooting a cow here and there. So, it went pretty easy, as the cows wanted to come home! It wasn't so cold, had my cover-alls and ect. on. I am glad that we did it yesterday, as today is miserably wind and cold!
Well, waiting to go to work. I have some errands to run, and visit some friends.

Today is the super THURSDAY! YEA! I will be taking Matt to Chadron, getting myself a haircut, and doing a little shopping. YIPPEE!

It is a gray, dreary day. I am NOT letting that affect my wonderful day, nor the scale!

Meow. is living in the garage now. Meggie and I fixed her up with a bed, water dish, and littler box. She was in her box sleeping when we left for bed.

Well, not much happening here. Jeffey to go to work this afternoon. He is back to Edgemont. And probably be there for awhile. The Helpers are going higher in seniority now. It is just life....good thing for seniority; as I am not good at ass-kissing!

Have you guys noticed all the holiday commercial on T.v. already??? I just got to watch a little of the boob tube last night, and was disappointed! Isn't it early?????

Indoor cat makes journey home!

Yes, you read correctly. Our cat, "meow", has made the long journey from Unckie & Aunties to our back deck. AMAZING! "I have heard of that happening...but?" was my reply. Yes, it is our cat. And Auntie hasn't seen her near their barn for quite a long time. So, it is weird, strange and bizarre!!!!!!!!! Jeffey still doesn't want her in the house, as she had a peeing problem (reason she went to the farm). So, she can stay, just outside. Jeffey gave her tuna, and some loves. The kiddo's are thrilled! Animals are pretty curious creatures!


Okay, I am off today by mistake. I put in for Thursday, and mistakenly got the wrong date! OOPS... So, we will roll with it! I think that I may have to lay off tomorrow to be able to take Matt to his appt. We will see. I don't want to miss my Thursdays. I love them!


Jeffey is home, too. So, let's go shopping! I am trying to talk him into it, yet! YIPPEE! He is not responding.... pay day is tomorrow, come on? Too bad Hobby Lobby is so stinking far....


I got off work at 11:30 last night, and came home to my hubby waiting up for me. We had a beer and worked on my laptop. It is not quite right.... we will see.

Yep, I did it again! I changed my background. I think I will try to do this daily, keep it fresh ;)....


Today, I worked until 4:45 am, then went to bed. Alarm went off @ 9:40 am. Drove like the dickens out to the farm to help chase cows. BRRRRR! It was cold on my horse. Good thing that the engine keeps my legs warm. Then Andy went to the CSC game with his buddy Tyler and his family. Matt stayed with Gma & Papa. Meggie came into town with me, and stayed with Heath and RJ, so that Lisa and I could go to Chadron for the craft shows and a jewelry party. We didn't get to the jewelry party , as the BNSF called me in to work AGAIN! ARGH! So, we raced through Walmart at mach-10.... then came home just in time for me to get to work. Anyhow, we agreed to have candle party (Party-Lite) on Nov. 21st. All of you are more than welcome to have some dessert and drinks with us. AND, Lisa bought a new purse...LOVE IT! Then, I got all inspired with the fuzzy-cuddly scarves at the craft show.... I think that will be my newest craft. Okay, Jeffey due home any minute. Kids are tucked in..... nigh- night all of you!

Numbing day....

Today, I planned on going to Shane's parents funeral. The weather got in the way of that.... SO, I was there in spirit for the K. family. My heart goes out to each of them.... it was a devastating tragedy... I pray that the K. Family are okay, and that they grieve with the Lord at their sides. I, too, am trying to figure out why our precious Lord would let this happen.... sometimes we cannot see the purpose, only to move forward and live each day to the fullest; we never know what may happen to ourselves and our loved ones.
Godspeed & courage in your healing journey K. family! My heart is with you!

Right now, he can't do either one.

My Silly Snow Babes!

"Yea! It snowed, Mommy!" We immediately got our new snow boots & pants out to try-on. Then, geeze, might as well go out and try them out since school doesn't start until 10:00. YIPPEE!! Meggie found her baby outside frozen with ice, too!

I slept like crap last night. The trees were banging on the house, and the wind gusting was awful! Sometime in the night the power went out, and then came back on. What a nasty first storm of the season! I feel like I want to jump into my coffee to warm up! BRRRR!

I think I will go make a fire!

Okay, we will perservere....

Last nights election outcome was not what this family wanted or needed. We are concerned about our Constitutional RIGHT of "Right to bear arms." Our family is big hunters, and believe in what our fore fathers set out for our county. So, hopefully, our House & Senate Representatives will not allow this change in our future. If this change is made, then what is next? Quite possibly, many of our other freedoms that we take for granted. Pray that we are led in a positive manner, and that these new leaders make good choices for ALL of our country, not just the heavily populated areas.
